Back from Holiday in West Africa
I have been on holiday in Nigeria and Ghana for the past five weeks and that explains why my blog has not been up to date. During my holiday in these west-african countries i was able to keep in touch with friends and love ones at little or no cost thanks to VoIP technology and the availability of Cybercafes with good internet connection in these countries. Throughout my stay in west-africa i used skype and voipbuster to call friends and they worked realy fine. Occassionaly i have audio quality problems especialy when the cybercafe uses VSAT internet connection but those with Fixed Wireless Broadband internet access worked very fine. I was surprise to see how much people are using VoIP technology in developing countries, its realy helping them to reach out to the world at very low cost.
