D-Link DPH-540 - The Wi-Fi flip-style mobile phone for VoIP


It is not suprising seen more and more products developed for voip considering the immense popularity of internet telephony at present. The latest of such products is the DPH-540 from D-Link and its shipment is expected to start this summer. DPH-540 is a Wi-Fi enabled flip mobile phone developed specifically for internet telephony. It has a SIP-based VoIP software from TelTel preinstalled enabling users to make voip calls wherever there is a Wi-Fi hotspot.The DPH-540 includes a large colorful LCM to display call information such as the numbers you dial, address book entries and caller ID numbers. The DPH-540 also supports several advanced calling features, including last number redial, mute, hold and text messaging. It has 12 MB RAM and 16 MB flash memory, 40-tones polyphony and USB interface for recharging. It runs on a Li-Ion 900 mAh battery, has dimensions of 113x48.7x25 mm and weights 115g.
