Linksys to Provide Equipments for MyNetFone

Linksys is providing hardware for MyNetFone in its second deal for the day of which cisco consumer and SMB division are parts of. MyNetFone is currently looking for breakneck subscribers sing-up speed. In the next few months, MyNet Fone hopes to increases to its subscriber base by an additional 10,000. SOHO and SME are MyNetFones targets for now. MyNetFone is actually expecting to bring in more than $250,000 equipment sales for Linksys and also has $1M per annum estimate in additional recuring revenue from the new subscribers.
According to a company statement “the equipment the two partners have in mind provides two lines of voip telephone and fax service. The MNFSPA2100 equipment has not just been configured, but it also has been customized particularly for the MyNetFone services. The implication of this is that reliability is high and there would be encryption based security.
The customers premises equipment really supports remote provisioning and dynamic in service software up-grading. In view of this, MyNetFone will be able to provide efficient post-sales services. In addition it ensures maximum availability to its customers who desired and demand reliable phone services for their homes and business.
Managing Director of MyNetFone, Andy Fung stated that “with the highly affordable MNFSPA2100 and MyNetFone economical call rates, we have continued to break new ground and set the industry benchmark by delivering great value to our customers.”
He as well said, “this offering further lowers the barriers of entry to voip for our customers by commoditising and during it from the tech sector into the mainstream mass market. We expect this and other initiatives in the near future to result in significant subscriber growth of residential and small business users to the MyNetFone services.”
As from early April 2007, the MNFSPA2100 will be made available exclusively via MyNetFone national reseller network.
