Developer of voip call recording software, Arcosoft release VONalink soloRecord for Mac OS X and it work with any voip phone system based on the open SIP standard, such as vonage to record phone calls and provide screen pops, it is also available in separate screenpop product. Solorecord and screen pop were previously available only for windows.
Before calls are recorded with analog equipment or expensive propietary product from the phone company, but with latest voip systems build on open standard protocols, calls can be recorded by monitoring network packets and it helps a company by allowing business transactions over the phone to be verified and disputes resolved.
VONalink soloRecord work with any SIP based voip system, such as vonage, softphones, ip phone or analog phone via an adapter supported. The call is recorded as a stereo WAV or MP3; inaudible watermark can be added to the recording for later verification that the file has not been changed.
With the caller I.D of incoming call, it searchers for the callers in Address Book, or launches custom applications to help search the web or company database.
