Tortel Offers New SIP Trunking on BroadSoft Platform
Due to its reliability, reputation and interoperability with other VoIP products and services, BroadSoft’s BroadWorks VoIP platform has been chosen by Tortel communications Inc. to deliver its new Board-Connect SIP trunking as well as hosted PBX services to include the small, medium and large businesses.
Tortel communications is a business phone system provider and would make this service available to its customers, especially those in North America, through its networks of resellers. The use of resellers might be very effective this time around this is because, Tortel is customer oriented and as a result supports its clients with its in-house and 24/7 support centre, including a state–of-the-art training centre where resellers are familiarized with BroadWork’s applications.
The offer will include the integration of BroadWorks with Microsoft Outlook, the customer Web portal, Broad works communicator, and an integrated audio and video SIP soft phone. According to Ravi Prasher who is sales directors of Tortel communications, “Tortel stands to become a major player in the IP telephone world.
It is expected that Trotel will use its BroadWorks-base VoIP services to also offer video conferencing and Wi-Max deployment for mobile phone services in the nearest future.
