Voxbone Established Second Point of Presence in the U.S
Voxbone, a leading provider of
international VoIP origination services to carriers, ITSPs, calling card
operators, call centers and other businesses around the world, today announced
that has established its second point of presence (PoP) in the U.S. to
better meet the needs of its North American customers
The new PoP, based in Los Angeles, will be clustered with the existing New York PoP to provide an automatic fail-over in case either datacenter is down for any reason. In addition, the new PoP puts Voxbone services closer to all carriers and service providers based on the West Coast.
"We are excited," said Rodrigue Ullens, co-founder of Voxbone, about enhancing the overall quality and reliability of our service. This new patent-pending POP clustering technique demonstrates Voxbone's commitment to constantly enhance the reliability of our VoIP backbone. In addition, the new center will enable service providers and carriers on the West Coast will be able to interconnect directly with our network, easily, quickly and cost-effectively."
Voxbone leases international VoIP virtual phone numbers and worldwide origination services via VoIP to organizations in North and South America, Europe and Asia/Pacific regions. It delivers high-quality call origination and provides the global infrastructure that enables its customers to expand to international markets quickly and efficiently. Using direct inbound dial (DID) also called virtual numbers from Voxbone, customers may receive inexpensive, locally dialed phone calls. Using standard VoIP hardware, customers utilize the Voxbone API or web portal for the configuration of the acquired DIDs and to choose to which IP appliance the calls are diverted.
Voxbone differentiates its offerings in two ways: By investing in multiple PoPs, redundant servers and other areas of service provision, Voxbone offers customers phone quality and reliability approaching landline options. In addition, Voxbone focuses exclusively in the distribution of DID numbers to ensure its service remains higher quality than that of its competitors, which are less focused in their offerings.
