27-Year old Telecom Veteran, Bob Harrison hired by IP5280 Communications as the Vice President of Sales
Colorado's business VoIP specialist, IP5280 Communications, has just announced their decision to hire a 27-year old telecom veteran, Bob Harrison to be the vice president of its Sales Department. We will look at his achievements.
Not too long ago, Harrison assisted in the launching of hosted solution eOnIPVoice for parent company eOn Communications which is centered in San Jose, California. Apart from this, he was also in charge of the launching of the Connecticut-based OneIPVoice's Hosted IP Solutions found in the Western part of the US.
Just before he became fully involved in the VoIP world, he was the president and CEO of International Fiber Con in Phoenix, a company that was made up of over 600 employees across its 13 offices. He played a very important role in the consolidation and acquisition of three profitable telecom companies into one entity.
This is actually the second time Harrison is venturing into a Denver-based company. In the 90s, he served as the vice president of Sales and Marketing for Integrated Network Services in Denver. Here, he was able to raise the company's income from $100,000 to more than $52 million. Due to his great efforts, the company became the largest Qwest master agent in the United States. Quite an achievement for a 27-year old!
According to John Scarborough, the managing partner of IP5280, "We are pleased to bring aboard the high caliber, telecom expertise presented by Bob Harrison. He will be instrumental in continuing our growth in the Colorado Internet voice and data industry as more small and medium-sized businesses drop phone service from Ma Bell and switch to the feature set, flexibility and quality of service they get from VoIP."
With IP5280, you get a variety of unlimited local and long distance VoIP calling packages, not to mention data solutions such as Hosted VoIP and IP Business Trunking services which deliver full user mobility and email integration. The more enhanced features include sending voicemail to an email inbox, simultaneous ring on multiple phones, automatic logging of calls, auto attendant that greets callers and delivers calls to different employees. The conventional features like making conference calls and three-way calls are not exempted.
