New VoIP Application for Apple iPhone
What makes this VoIP application particularly powerful is the ability to transfer a cellular call to WiFi during the call and it can be used in the YouTube video. iCall is available now as a Windows PC based VoIP client and currently all calls made or received are free within the U.S. or Canada .
There is also another version called iCall Pro, this version has a monthly fee associated with it that supports more features on users' PC. It is hoped that VoIP on the iPhone will bring about some great possibilities since the iPhone does such a great job at handling switches between cellular towers and a WiFi connection.
In another related development, a VoIP company just announced VoIP system for the iPhone that allows users to hop onto a VoIP network mid-call whenever they hit an open hotspot. It also offers free calls to the U.S. and Canada. It should be available on the Apple iPhone App store by early July. This also comes with features which allow users to make and receive calls over WiFi, transfer inbound calls from regular cell minutes to WiFi instantly, access same address book and customize voicemail options
