Newest iPhone Launched by Apple and AT&T

 Apple and AT&T announced that they are ready to release the follow-up to its widely popular innovative 3G iPhone device and will be available in the US on July 11. Officials at Apple and AT&T said that the new iPhone 3G will operate at network speeds that are twice as fast as the first generation iPhone and San Antonio-based AT&T remains the exclusive U.S. carrier for the new iPhone.

iPhone 3G combines all the revolutionary features of iPhone with 3G networking that is twice as fast* as the first generation iPhone, built-in GPS for expanded location based mobile services, and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs the hundreds of third party applications already built with the recently released iPhone SDK.

iPhone 3G will be available in the US on July 11 for a retail price of $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model in both Apple and AT&T's retail stores and requires a new two year contract. AT&T will also sell iPhone 3G through its direct business sales teams. The devices will be sold in more than 2,200 AT&T retail stores and kiosks, as well as direct business sales channels.
