Guest Post - Ooma VS Axvoice - Which one is the best?
After having a heated debate with my father I decided to write what I feel is the better internet telephony service provider. Here is a little background story. A couple of day’s back my father came to spend some time with me in Florida. That is when he first came across Axvoice. Initially he didn’t find it any different from other internet phone providers but later that night we started discussing about it and one thing led to the other. We finally had to end up the never ending argument. Feeling proud of my choice and how it has helped me over the years I bragged about Axvoice. I did not know at that time that my father had also subscribed to VoIP service and had become a strong protagonist of Ooma; thus starting a never ending debate that has been going on ever since then.
If you ask me, my father’s opinion is based entirely upon his solitary encounter and not the overall appeal the product has. On the other hand my claim is based upon years of wasted time and money with second grade VoIP services. After wasting a lot of time and rejecting numerous services I finally settled with Axvoice because it fulfilled all the needs I had.
First and the foremost attribute that made Axvoice stood out for me was the wide range of calling packages it offered. Axvoice uses a customer driven approach hence enabling it to come up with a calling package that is for all the different calling segments of the market. There is a calling plan for everyone and multiple choices for every single customer market segment out there. One can choose a calling package as per his liking and can always switch from one service to another without any extra payment or charges. On the other hand, Ooma has limited calling plans, which do not cater any particular type of customer but are generally for every type. Ooma has taken more general approach with just 3 type of calling rates offered to its customers. Also Ooma prides in coming with a device capable of providing top-notch voice quality. On the contrary Axvoice gives a service, which in all respects is outstanding. Even though both are simple to install, easy to use and require high speed internet for communication yet I feel Axvoice is better because it has a customer driven approach.
Ooma only provides a handful of features with its service, which are mainly on the hardware level while Axvoice gives one of the widest ranges of calling features, which at any moment can cost a fortune to hold. I’m still a bachelor even then I feel the constraint of bills and this is where Axvoice takes a huge leap forward when compared to Ooma. Axvoice gives the lowest local and international rates. All its calling plans are aimed at providing a cost effective calling service. If it would have been for me I would make everyone use Axvoice and I believe you must have come to know by now, why.
